The Dome of Galleries Lafayette

The dome of Galleries Lafayette in Paris is simply stunning. The dome of the 10-storey department store is made of steel and glass. This was built in 1912 by Georges Chedanne and his student Ferdinand Chanut when Theophile Bader commissioned it for his fashion store at the corner of La Fayette.
