Hook & Loop Orbital Discs
Velcro hook and loop sanding pads are a popular seller into this market and we offer a wide selection including 50mm, 75mm, 125mm, and 150mm in grits that range from P80 grit through to P2000 grit. Smith & ARROW also offer a very specialised open weave net mesh disc in 150mm. This disc uses very long lasting ceramic abrasive base and is virtually clog free due to its propriety open mesh / completely see-through design. This disc is extremely efficient because dust build-up is reduced to almost zero, and are very long wearing / lasting because the abrasive materials used are high-tech ceramics.
Woodworking Drill Bits
Smith & ARROW sell a great range of highest grade Carbon 45 Drill bits designed especially for working with wood. Our corkscrew tipped Auger Bits are 450mm long and available in 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 16mm, 18mm, 20mm and 25mm individually, as well as in a full set presented beautifully in an aluminium carry case. Our Brad Point bits are of true commercial quality and will save you a fortune compared with typical retail pricing. Any woodworker worth his salt knows that feeling when the wood splinters around the edge whilst the bit is going in, or even worse splinters when the bit exits the hole. Brad Point bits are specifically designed to stop this from happing and you will find them a joy to use on your next woodworking project. Safety Gear
Safety gear when working with wood is a very important part of any workshop. Smith & ARROW sells a very high quality range of Safety Glasses in Clear, Smoked, and Bi-focal to suit most applications. These glasses are certified against not only the Australian / NZ Standard, but also against the European and American Standards. They are all treated in an anti-fog surfacing and are all scratch resistant.
P2 Masks
We also offer a range of the highest quality P2 Disposable Respirators to protect you and your team in the dusty environment that comes with woodworking. Our P2 Masks carry the 5 Tick Quality Product mark indication they are independently certified against the Australian Safety Standard by SAI Global. P2 is one of the highest particle filtration certifications you get in a safety respirator. All of our P2 masks are equipped with valves which make for a much more comfortable fit by allowing exhaled air to escape easily, which also reduces fogging if the wearer is also using safety glasses. All Smith & ARROW’s P2 Masks are valved and we offer a range in both cupped and folding in a variety of colours. We also have a selection of cupped and folding activated carbon masks. These masks are especially engineered for applications that involve strong odours, minimising smells like epoxy etc that are common in a range of different industries.
